CHEM 531 - BIOCHEMISTRY |
The goal of this course is to teach the principles of chemical reactions in biological systems. Topics include: protein chemistry, enzymology, genetic
diseases, bioenergetics/respiration, metabolism and nucleic acid chemistry. Wherever possible, applications of biochemistry to health and environment will be emphasized. It is recommended that Chemistry 533 be taken concurrently. Three class hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 206.
Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Undergraduate Level Prerequisites: (Undergraduate Level level CHEM 206 Minimum Grade of D) |
