Microbial functions, interactions and diversity in natural and man-made environments. Applications of microbial activities in bio-remediation,
bio-degradation, agriculture, health and environmental biotechnology. Six class hours per week, including laboratory. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 341; CHEM 106 and 108 or permission of instructor.
