C J 226 - COURT SYSTEMS IN THE US |
This course will provide students with a working knowledge of the major structures and basic legal concepts that underlie the criminal courts. The
structure of the courts, the nature of the criminal law they apply and the procedures followed by them will be examined along with the history of how they developed and the goals they seek to achieve. The state and federal court systems will be examined. Prerequisite(s): CJ 101.
