Introduction to basic conducting techniques. Choral conducting techniques and problems: rehearsal and procedures, development of stylistic interpretation, score reading and analysis. Practical application through the media of the Concert Choir and a vocal ensemble comprised of class participants. Prerequisite(s): MUS 101. Take with MUS 150.
