B A 313 - BUSINESS FINANCE |
This course embraces the conceptual and practical problems associated with the financial management of the non-financial corporation. Topics covered, in brief, are an analysis of fund commitments to current assets, short-term financing, evaluation and choice of capital assets, the principle issues of debt/equity mix, investment policy and divided policy as they influence the market value of corporate claims. Prerequisite(s): BA 216 and 209. (Note: BA 216 may be taken concurrently with permission of instructor.)
