| BIOL 120 - ~FUNDAMENTALS OF BIOLOGY & LAB |

An in-depth introductory study of the biological sciences for science majors, emphasizing major principles of biology and the nature of scientific research. Students will conduct an original research experiment during the semester. Counts as General Education Natural Science requirement and General Education Computer Skills unit. Three lecture and two laboratory hours per week.
Prerequisites: (Undergraduate Level level ENGL 101 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate Level level ENGL 101E Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate Level level ENGL 101H Minimum Grade of D) or ( Accuplacer - Sentence Skills 88 or Accuplacer - Writing 254 or SAT - Verbal/Critical Reading 450 or ACT - English 18 or SAT15 - Evidence Based R/W 450 or ACT15 - Englsh Lang Arts Score 18) |
