Induction, well-ordering principle, Euclidean Algorithm, Chinese Remainder Theorem, Fermat’s and Wilson’s Theorems, prime numbers, multiplicative functions, quadratic reciprocity, sum of squares, Diophantine Equations, Fermat’s Last Theorem, cryptology. Prerequisite(s): MATH 205 and MATH 207.
